ชาวต่างชาติที่ต้องการทำใบขับขี่ไทยก็สามารถทำได้แล้วที่ สำนักงานขนส่ง ทั่วประเทศโดยมีเอกสารดังนี้
- หนังสือเดินทางฉบับจริง+สำเนา
- ใบขับขี่จากประเทศของตัวเอง+สำเนา
- ใบรับรองแพทย์
- เอกสารแสดงที่อยู่ในประเทศไทยถ้าไม่มีให้ไปขอ "หนังสือรับรองถิ่นที่อยู่" จาก สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง (ตม.)
แล้วนำเอกสารไปติดต่อที่ สำนักงานขนส่ง เพื่อดำเนินการขั้นตอนต่อไปได้เลย
